SS#8 Campbell et al. 2018 Potential carbon storage in biochar made from logging residue: Basic principles and Southern Oregon case studies

I love this paper! I’ve used it a lot in my work, but I also have shared with people to explain the idea of climate parity, a point in time when the climate impacts of doing something (in this case producing biochar) are offset with C removal/sequestration. Its one of the most clearly written papers I have ever read …. and I read a LOT of science papers.

What was awesome? Excellent figures/documentation!, Couldn’t stop thinking about it! It made a key connection for me!
